What is the School of Splash?

School of Splash is Chesterfield Swimming Club's Learn to Swim programme. We provide fun, informative swimming lessons to children of all ages and adults.

Who teaches the lessons?

School of Splash is led by our Learn to Swim Manager John Sinclair who does most of the teaching. We also have a number of teachers, all of which are the best teachers around and aim to make lessons fun and informative, teach a skill that can be a lifesaver and are aware that every child may be a future Olympic Champion.

When and where are the lessons and how much does it cost?

Our lessons take place in the pool at Highfield Hall School and run every weekday evening and Saturday mornings.

The lessons cost £30 per month for one 30 minute lesson a week, including all registration and membership fees. There is no minimum term just one months notice required if you leave.

What level classes do you run?

Our lessons begin with parent and toddler sessions leading on to ASA Stages 1-3, basically we cover beginners and early improvers. We also run adult-only beginner and improver lessons.

How can I join?

Simple, just fill in your details at the bottom of this page and a member of our team will contact you to offer a FREE trial session. After that we only need a few forms filling in and you are ready to go.

What are 'Crash Courses'?

Crash Courses are one week intensive teaching courses designed to kick start your childs swimming lessons or boost their development in their exisiting lessons.

Does my child have to already be swimming at School Of Splash to attend a Crash Course?

No, not at all. Anyone can join one of our Crash Courses and there is absolutley no obligation to join School Of Splash after the course is complete.
